Our Favorite Time of Day

After dinner is done we have a pretty good routine going. Addison is crazy about bath time so we have gotten to the point where we take shifts. Mommy starts the bath and cleans her really well while Dad gets a few things done and then we switch. After a really long bathtime, Addison brushes her teeth. She gets a turn and then Mom gets a turn and she makes really funny sound effects while this is going on she will say oooooh (tasting the toothpaste) aaaahhhhh (open wide) eeeeeeee (brushing front teeth) puh (that is her sound for spitting and she really thinks that she is spitting and she will even lean over the sink, but she has already swallowed the toothpaste at this point.) After tubby time we head to her room for pjs and lotion and giggle time--she is always her most playful at this time of day. Next, we feed her baby dinner and put her baby to bed and after that we read lots and lots and lots of books. About twenty minutes before bedtime we head downstairs and get a drink and watch one show to let her winddown and then mom takes her up and puts her to bed. I love every minute of our evenings and am so glad that Addison and Chad do to!
