Yesterday was my mom's birthday! We called "bum" (others may know her as gram) at work and Addison wanted to tell her happy day. After school, my mom picked Addie up to hang out with her before they came over for dinner and Addison was so excited when gram walked into the room--her eyes got big and she said "Bum Happy Day"! As they were walking up my driveway, Addison kept saying Sprinkin Sprinkin Sprinkin and my mom informed me that she was worried about it Sprinkling Rain. After cards and presents, we stuffed ourselves with barbecue, pasta salad, fresh strawberries, veggies and dip, and a pineapple dump cake. When dinner was finished, bum and Addie marched in a parade around the living room to her music. It was a fun evening! I love how the simplest things in life make my mom the happiest. I love to watch her with her grandchildren and see her laugh so hard she wants to cry! Happy birthday again Mama--we love you!
