Funny Stuffie Stories

Much like her cousin Luke, Addison has become very fond of "Stuffies." I came across several beanie babies at the Easter Seals Donation sale and thought that I could donate to a great organization and make Addison very happy in the meantime. We now own 50+ stuffed animals and have had tons of hours of fun playing with them. I thought I would share a couple stories from the past few days that have had me in stitches!

Meet Stinky:

On the first evening of playing with our new friends, Addison was doing her usual--making the animals talk to each other and hug and kiss and say bye bye. Well, she put the skunk over in the corner all alone and continued to play with all the others so I asked her if she thought maybe the skunk would like to play with everyone and she said "no P U Stinky" and held her nose. I asked her a little while later if she thought the skunk had hurt feelings since he wasn't allowed to play and she said "yes" so I said can the cow (who was also black and white) play with him since they look alike and she said "no stinky." So I was trying to show her that it wasnt nice to leave "animals" out because of appearance or smell and I said Addison if you were stinky would you want someone to play with you and she said EEEEEWWWWW NOOOOOO. At least she is honest! Well the next morning as we were rushing out the door, she got to grab a stuffie for the car ride and she grabbed the skunk and said "common stinky!"

No throwing POOH!

We have continued to play stuffies this entire week and the old stuffies and new stuffies have become friends. I was on the computer the other evening and I heard Addison say "No throw Poo Dadddy" which of course caught my attention very quickly so I turned around to see poor Winnie laying on the floor.

We have had puppet shows, matched the animals to the animals in our books, and even got out our new animal encyclopedia (Thanks Great Aunt Kelly) to learn about the different stuffies. Luke you will have to come and play with us soon!

You're welcome! I thought she would enjoy the animal book. I got one for Ella, too and she loved it.
