Hardy's Reindeer Ranch

Sunday was beautiful outside and we wanted to take advantage since we don't know how many more nice weekend days we would have left this year. We decided to go to the Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul and were pleasantly surprised at how much they had to do. They had a huge corn maze that you walked through to try and collect eight different punches--each punch was a different Alien or Monster that had invaded the corn field. We took a hayride with the dog of the Ranch-- "Dakota". We took the Reindeer tour which involves learning about the Reindeer, feeding them, petting them, and taking pictures with them. Addison loved digging in the sand pit with shovels and dump trucks, and we even played a quick game of hide and seek in the Christmas Tree farm. All in all, I would highly recommend this to anyone who has not been. They have group rates and special things you can do as a group that involve a bon fire etc. If several people are interested, maybe we could schedule a group outing to this place either this fall or next!
