I had a wonderful birthday weekend! Friday night we ordered pizza and watched Princess and the Frog (if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it!). Saturday we attended Avery's first birthday party (Debbie's daughter), followed by a birthday celebration at Fuji with the Clark's to celebrate Heather's 35th and my 30th. Sunday morning we left early for a short overnight St. Louis trip where we visited the Zoo, Monkey Joe's, several good shopping spots, and two of my favorites--the Cheesecake Factory and Sweet Tomatoes. On the way home from St. Louis we stopped in Springfield to eat at another favorite--Chili's and do a little more shopping. Today I worked and was showered with goodies from co-workers! We had cookies and cupcakes and brownies and apple cake and more cupcakes. We will end the birthday celebration with dinner this evening and get prepared for Addi's surgery tomorrow! Thanks everyone for making my 30th so special! I am afraid I am REALLY going to start showing now after all the calories that I have packed on this weekend! Here are some of my favorite memories over the last few days!
Avery was so cute in her little birthday tu-tu and hairbow!

Riding on the train!

Addi got her face painted for the first time!

Eating the delicious food at Fuji! Thanks again Lyn and Galen!

The weather was perfect for our zoo day!

These two elephants were putting on a big show for all to see. They would swim and splash in the water and then get out and get back in again. The mama elephant came over and pushed some hay at them with her trunk as if to say "Finish your lunch before you swim" so the two elephants slowly got out of the water and started to follow the mother and as soon as the mom got a few steps away, they went running back to the water for another swim.

Addi got the Giraffe on the second Carousel ride, she was ecstatic! Thanks Gram!

The pool at our hotel was a little chilly, but we had the whole thing to ourselves.

If you go to Monkey Joe's at 10:00 on a Monday morning when school isn't out yet, you will have the whole place to yourself! She played so hard that she told me when she was "done"

I'm so glad you had such a great birthday! I hope Addi's surgery went well and she's back to her adorable self real soon. Don't you worry about the calories, that's one of the perks turning 30 and being pregnant:) Happy Birthday, I love ya!
