OK,
Everyone that knows me even remotely well knows how much trouble we have had selling our home. I am to the point where I just want to take it off the market and wait a year until we "HAVE" to sell. So with this said, we get a call Saturday night about 10 pm (While at the Christmas party.) that they would like to show our house at 11:45in the morning. We leave the party, come home, put both girls to bed, and clean clean clean. I stayed up until 1 and then got back up at 6 to work some more. We were supposed to work the church nursery Sunday morning but I decided that I would work it alone and that Chad should stay home and continue cleaning to make sure that it was up to par in case these people were "the ones" Chad and his dad hung a couple things up while his mom watched Emmy and Addi and I went to church. After church, we came home to finish up the cleaning and got out of the house about two minutes after they were supposed to show. Chad got the dog and just drove up and down the street. He called my cell phone about 15 minutes later and said that they were in our house for less than 10 minutes. My heart dropped, but we have been here before, all of that work for nothing! Instead of getting upset I decide to think positively, at least the house is clean and we can enjoy our next couple of days off without quite so many "to do's". So we come back home and eat lunch and put the girls down for nap. I decide to run to the library to get Addi's Christmas books and before I am even back across town, the realtor calls back and says we are still out looking at houses and it is between your house and one other (which we have also heard many times before), they would like to come back through again today if at all possible before they make a decision. So I get home, scoop both girls up and put them in the car and head over to Nan and Pop's house for a couple hours. Please cross your fingers and toes that this is the one (SANTA, it is really what I want for Christmas!!!!!!!!)
