We had a late start getting to the zoo this morning because Addi left her tennis shoes at the hotel. I roamed Target with the kiddos while Chad headed back to get them. We ended up purchasing sweatshirts and long sleeves since the weather was a little chillier than anticipated. After a rocky start we pulled up to the zoo just as someone was pulling away from the curb. (Free close parking--score) then as we were getting ready to purchase train tickets, some nice lady gave us passes for all of us. She said it was the final day of their membership and she wanted to pass out all the train rides her family didn't use. The umbrella stroller decided to quit folding up just as we were about to get on the train so we left it behind. Then two train rides later, they forgot to collect our tickets so we had two spare train rides one to go back and get our abandoned unfoldable stroller and the other tickets we let Addi gift to a family of four walking by. Just as I was starting to dread either feeding Paige in a public place or walking all the way back to the car, I stumbled across a lactation room at the first aide station conveniently located next to the carousel where Chad could entertain the other two. We ended the day with the stingrays where Emmy Jane shocked me and actually touched 2!!! When we left the zoo we had dinner at Ruby Tuesdays and are now headed home.
