WE GOT FLOWERS!

On our last day of work before Addi's big five day birthday weekend, Addison and I were surprised with flowers sent by a wonderful husband and father named Chad. Normally I am not a flower person just because they cost so much and they only last a little while--don't get me wrong, I love flowers and the look and smell of them, but when they are given often- (every anniversary and valentine's day), or when someone asks you to send them, it seems less romantic. So that said, I received a beautiful bouqet of flowers with a note that said "Thank you for our beautiful daughter." Addison also got a carnation sent to her classroom the same day. I melted and loved the surprise factor behind it. Still smiling about it.
