One word that can change your life!

We found out last Thursday that we are expecting! I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I believe that I am 5-6 weeks along. We had lots of plans this past weekend with both our families and thought that it would be a great time to share the good news. On Friday night, we celebrated Jackson and Riley's birthday and shared the news at our house afterward by showing the above picture on my camera! I would have printed it out and put it in Valentine's cards, but of course Walmart and Walgreens the Friday before Valentine's is not the place I want to be! On Saturday, we decided to share the news with my family by letting Addison tell them. We told her a "secret" and when you ask her what the secret is, she says "baby" and my parents said what about a baby and she said "A baby in my mommy's belly!" We also got to announce our news Saturday evening at our group Valentine's date at Bizou!
I knew that once Addison was allowed to tell the secret, she would tell everyone, so I let her tell my boss at work when we walked in on Monday morning and she got to tell her teacher. I found out later in the day that when she told her other teacher Miss Carrie, she said "Miss Carrie there is a baby in my mommy's belly!" Carrie said there is? and Addison goes "No, God has to make it first!" and Carrie didn't hear the word God so she thought that Addi said "No they have to make it first!" and a little confused, she said, "Your mommy and daddy are going to TRY to make a baby?" Then it was cleared up, but I was mortified because earlier that morning, during circle time a little boy Ryan said my daddy didn't get my mommy anything for Valentine's day and she is mad and Miss Lorrie said "OH I bet your daddy is in trouble." and then Robert said my Dad got my mom Chocolates and Miss Lorrie said Addi did your Daddy get anything special for your mommy and Addison said "Yeah, a big juicy kiss!" (Directly from the book Froggy's first Kiss!). Needless to say, I cleared up with them that no we don't give each other big juicy kisses in front of our daughter and we don't tell our daughter that we are going to go and try to make a baby!

Hopefully the next word that can change our life is "SOLD"! We are going to put our house back on the market For Sale By Owner and hope that someone is interested!
