Happy Birthday Leslie! In honor of my sisters 33rd birthday, she asked friends and fellow bloggers to post "I" statements about themselves as a fun way to learn more about each other.
So Here Goes:
1. I LOVE being a mom almost a little too much, and sometimes have trouble keeping my own identity and not being "Addi's mommy".
2. I have consumed more Lemonade during this pregnancy than I have in my entire lifetime. (Cravings)
3. I am starting to wonder if our house will ever sell. I feel like every idea and most of my conversations lately start with the phrase "When and If we move"...
4. I am extremely close with my family and in-laws and wouldn't have it any other way.
5. I am obsessed with taking pictures lately and feel like I don't go anywhere without my camera in case I might miss something.
6. I feel like I have a lot of great ideas but usually talk myself out of them for one reason or another. I like to be in my comfort zone so I would rather do things that I am really good at as opposed to failing at something new. This applies to all aspects of my life. (I am trying to change this about myself.)
7. I worry too much about what others think and sometimes am a little guarded because of this. I feel like I don't have many close friends anymore because I don't put myself out there.
8. I am so happy to be married to someone who accepts me for exactly who I am and doesn't try to change me in any way.
9. I love feeling the baby move around in my belly.
10.I have a shopping and coffee addiction--Can't get enough. (Again I miss you coffee!)
11. I like to go to bed early and wake up early. There is something about starting a new day that I love.
12. I wish I had pet insurance. I am tired of spending money on insulin and needles and Cosequin and Prescription dog food and thyroid pills for Boggs. Seriously, do not ask me how much it is a month.
13. I feel like I become a little more assertive and a little less selfish at the same time with each year I age. (Does that make any sense?)
14. I love country music and emotional songs that bring a tear to your eyes.
15. I believe in God and often think about the "bigger picture".
16. I am starting to wonder if I will be able to wait until breakfast to eat the banana bread that just came out of the oven. Smells soooo good!
17. I love how good Chad is with Addison and can't wait to meet this little girl and witness more of it!
18. I love routines and schedules but at the same time feel the need to be completely impulsive just to break the cycle.
19. I make lots of to do lists to feel organized but am often overwhelmed with everything on the to do list.
20. I think a big salad with all of the fixins is one of the best meals ever!
21. I am scared of cats.
22. I often look at other people and am amazed by them.
23. I like to read and scrapbook, but find very little time to do either lately.
24. I love how close we are to my parents and Chad's parents, but sometimes feel guilty for all they do for us.
25. I have the best sister in the world--I just wish I could see more of her.
26. I always think that by buying a new cleaning product or gadget- cleaning will suddenly become a little easier or more enjoyable. Chad will just look at me and say NO if I am watching an infomercial or a commercial having to do with anything of this nature. I used to get mad at him, but now I just laugh because I now realize that the products will not clean for me.
27. I sometimes wish that I lived a little more simply like my brother.
28. I wish I had the patience of my mother.
29. I hope that I teach my children to become responsible, compassionate, optimistic, and successful people!
30. I am getting tired. I am going to switch the laundry.
31. I am going to taste my banana bread
32. I am going to kiss my family goodnight and am going to bed
33. I am amazed at how long it took me to write 32 things about myself. I think I thought about it a little too much.

Great list Erin! Don't worry about 1, 6 and 7...I think it goes with the young mom territory. In some ways you do kind of lose who you are for awhile because you are consumed with your kids but that only brings you closer to who you are meant to be. Pretty deep thoughts for 8am LOL!
I thought it was hard to write, too! I literally took several hours over 2 days to think of stuff to list. I especially enjoy #30-32. They made me laugh out loud actually, especially since I was so close to writing some things very similar to that for my last few "I" statements. I loved your list! You did good. (And I can't wait to meet your newest little girl, either!)
I love your list, Erin! Thanks so much for participating! THink we can get your hubby to join in? I have a feeling his list would be pretty interesting too! :)
My favorite statement of yours was definitely the one about Chad shaking his head at you everytime you see an infomercial.....it made me laugh outloud!
Love you, little sister!
Erin,
Great list. Like Leslie, I laughed at the infomercial comment. I could see the expression on Chad's face as you were setting the scene. (sign of a good writer and/or storyteller).
With Love
Dad
P.S. Brian...if you see this, I would love to see your list of 32.
