Waiting

"If a human lived for 65 years, they would spend about a little more than half, or a little less than half of their life just waiting." (Ask.com)

It might sound absurd, but if you truly think about it is probably accurate! I feel like I have spent entirely too much time waiting lately.
-Waiting for someone to buy our house
-Waiting to decorate the nursery until we move
-Waiting to have a rummage sale until we move
-Waiting to move the scrapbook room to the basement until we have the workout equipment moved
-Waiting to decide if I will stay home or go back to work based on the price I am charged for daycare/if work continues to change
-Waiting for a three year old to go potty, get dressed, climb in the carseat, eat her dinner, pick up her toys, finish her bath, go to sleep etc.
-Waiting for parents to pick up their children at the end of my work day
-Waiting for people to do things for me that I "can't do" because I am pregnant.
(painting, moving things, etc.)
-Waiting for approval from others
-Waiting for this baby girl to be all done growing so we can meet her.
This list could go on and on, but you get the picture!

Well, I decided a couple of days ago that I am tired of waiting, and whatever is in my control to do or get done I am going to get taken care of NOW! The things out of my control, although frustrating as hell, are going to have to get out of my brain because I am not worrying about them anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely,
The pregnant, hormonal, nesting mother

WOW what a productive weekend it turned out to be! Nursery painted, furniture moved, new scrapbook room halfway done, a little more space to get my stuff organinzed! Thanks to Chad who was probably tired of me talking about it, Mom for painting all day Sat. and helping out Sunday, Galen for all your help, Lyn and Galen for letting us store stuff at your house, and Dad for letting us borrow your truck--Hope your back feels better soon.

Don't get in the way of a nesting mama! :)

Glad to hear your weekend was so productive. You know now that you have the nursery set up, your house will sell!
