Brave Girl and a Guardian Angel.

Yesterday Addison had eight teeth pulled. I was so nervous to tell her about it because I thought she would be scared. I told her yesterday morning that at her dentist appointment she was going to smell a funny gas which would make her feel tingly and like she was dreaming and then the doctor was going to wiggle her loose teeth out. She got a big smile on her face so I reworded it to make sure that she understood what was about to happen. She was still smiling so when I asked her why she was excited that the tooth fairy would bring her lots of dollars and maybe balloons. Gram agreed to match the tooth fairy so that made her even happier. Still nervous anticipating the first tooth being pulled, I said a little prayer before we left the house. On the way there Addison said I know that I didn't just see what I think I saw. When I asked her what she saw she said that Poppy's face appeared on her iPad on the Minecraft game. She said I know it wasn't actually real he is in heaven, but I feel like he's telling me it will be okay or teasing me about having to go to the dentist like he always did. When he teased me about going to the principals office all the time I told him I didn't like it but I really did like when he teased me. We got to the dentist and it could not have went more perfectly Corley dental was patient and amazing and they did wonderful work she is still smiling afterwards only missing a few more teeth. She had us laughing in the room about how much money she was going to get as her poor little lips cheeks and gums were numb. She also talked about how she was going to eat so many mashed potatoes and gravy. Pretty proud of my girl and she is still doing great today.

So glad everything went well, and that Addi had no problems with getting all those teeth pulled! I got goosebumps when I read that she saw her Poppy before she went to the dentist. We really do have guardian angels looking out for us, huh?
